Alisha Rimando is a world-renowned nail artist, educator, and entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience shaping the global nail industry. Licensed since 1994, she has earned over 40 prestigious awards, authored and contributed to nearly 80 published works, delivered more than 1,800 classes, and served as an international judge, mentor, and product developer.

Her career has taken her from salon beginnings to international leadership roles. As Executive Vice President & Creative Director at Artistic Nail Design, Alisha developed education programs and innovative product lines. She also served as Training Director for Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spas, where she licensed in reflexology and trained over 360 nail technicians across 31 locations nationwide. A longtime contributor to Milady/Cengage Learning, Alisha has authored and co-authored core cosmetology and nail technology textbooks that continue to shape future generations of professionals.

In 2020, Alisha launched GlossaryLive.com, a digital education hub created to honor her mentor, World Champion Tom Holcomb, and celebrate artistry worldwide. GlossaryLive provides tutorials, masterclasses, and interviews designed to inspire and unite a global community of nail professionals. Today, Alisha continues to share her passion for education, artistry, and innovation, empowering nail technicians everywhere to achieve their highest potential.
