Who is Liz Santana? My story began 15 years ago,  with over a decade in the beauty industry , and my Caribbean roots have deeply influenced the artist I am today, allowing me to connect with people from all walks of life through beauty.

Makeup artistry was not my first plan. I was pushed into this industry without realizing how much I would grow to love it. What started as a step outside of my comfort zone became a powerful reminder that sometimes our purpose finds us when we are willing to think differently and trust where our potential can take us. For me, being a creative is limitless — and that belief continues to guide my evolution as an artist.

Before fully stepping into the beauty world, I came from a corporate background and later built my career while raising my children as a single mother. Balancing motherhood, creativity, and business required resilience, faith, and determination. The beauty industry not only gave me a creative outlet, but also the flexibility to be present for my children while building a career I am proud of.

Throughout my journey, I’ve had the opportunity to work not only with everyday clients, but also within television, film, celebrity, and charity spaces. These experiences have expanded my perspective, strengthened my skill set, and reinforced the importance of adaptability, professionalism, and consistency at every level of artistry.

I have always known that growing in this career would also mean sharing my knowledge and artistry with others and becoming an example — just as those who paved the way for me once were. Being able to manifest the career I envisioned has been nothing short of an incredible journey. There was a specific artist I admired and hoped to work with for many years. Not only did I eventually meet her and collaborate with her, but we built a genuine friendship — and in a true full-circle moment, I became the artist she chose for her wedding day. It was a defining reminder that dedication, passion, and authenticity can bring your biggest aspirations to life.

I have grown artistically, personally, and professionally, and I am known for my versatility and ability to evolve with an ever-changing industry. I strongly believe in community over competition and take pride in uplifting and supporting fellow artists whenever possible.

Today, I blend artistry with real-life experience to educate and inspire others in a way that feels honest, approachable, and empowering. My mission is to help artists see what is possible for themselves — to step into their confidence, refine their craft, and build sustainable, fulfilling careers in the beauty industry.
