How to Adapt Viral Techniques for Real-World Clients
Social media has transformed how pedicure techniques are shared—but viral visibility doesn’t always translate to real-world safety or suitability. This one-hour lecture examines the growing gap between trending pedicure content and the real feet professionals work on every day.
Drawing on patterns observed in high-engagement social media posts, this session examines why dramatic transformations are effective online, how copycat techniques proliferate without context, and what critical information is often omitted from short-form videos. Attendees will learn how to adapt—not imitate—viral techniques using smarter assessment, tool modification, and professional judgment.
Grounded in smart, advanced pedicure principles through NASP, this lecture covers identifying common pedicure trends and how to modify and differentiate between visually appealing results and safe, scope-appropriate pedicure practices while applying assessment-based decision-making before using electric files or specialty bits. Modify pedicure techniques based on client-specific factors, such as skin condition, age, and risk, and demonstrate safer, more professional adaptations of trend-driven techniques in everyday pedicure services.
