Gretchen Kaltenbach is the founder of Color Match Method®, a harmony-based color analysis system designed to elevate consultations and support higher-value service offerings within modern salons.
With over 3,500 professional color analyses performed both in-person and virtually, Gretchen is recognized for translating advanced color theory into practical strategies that help beauty professionals increase revenue, strengthen client trust, and differentiate themselves in a competitive market.
After a 35-year career as a registered nurse, Gretchen pursued her lifelong passion for color, aesthetics, and personal transformation by attending the Aveda Institute, where she studied esthetics and deepened her expertise in skin tone, cosmetic color, and visual harmony.
She has completed mastery-level training with internationally respected image consultant Karen Brunger of the International Image Institute, earned certification in the UK tonal system under Colour Me Beautiful educator Lindsey Edwards, and pursued advanced 16-season study with color specialist Julia Dobkin.
