Dr. Kyjuan H. Brown (Kwaku Asante), JP, MD, MH, DipDerm, CCFP is an award-winning physician, hair restoration specialist, educator, and entrepreneur with a growing global footprint in dermatology, trichology, and holistic healthcare. With more than 15 years of clinical experience, he is widely recognized for combining medical expertise, innovation, and business leadership to help shape the future of hair, scalp, skin, and wellness care.
As Founder and CEO of Dr. Brown’s Group of Companies, Dr. Brown leads an expanding international platform spanning advanced hair restoration, accredited trichology education, AI-powered hair analysis technology, and doctor-formulated health and skincare solutions. What began with his thriving medical practice in Bermuda has grown into a broader international vision, with strategic expansion into the United States, South Africa, and Europe. A graduate of St. George’s University School of Medicine, Dr. Brown further specialized in dermatology at the renowned Welsh Institute of Dermatology at Cardiff University in Wales, UK. His expertise spans dermatology, medical hair restoration, nutrition, and integrative care, allowing him to deliver an approach that is both scientifically grounded and holistically informed.
In addition to his clinical leadership, Dr. Brown is a passionate educator through the Dr. Brown’s Hair Restoration Institute, where he trains healthcare providers, barbers, stylists, and other professionals in both medical and surgical hair restoration techniques. Through science, technology, and entrepreneurship, he is not only restoring confidence, but also creating new educational and economic opportunities for professionals around the world.
Dr. Brown has received numerous healthcare, entrepreneurial, and community honors throughout his career, including the Best of Bermuda Award. In 2015, he received the prestigious Professor Hywel Williams Research Prize, also known as the “Apple Award,” from the Caribbean Dermatology Association for research of significant relevance to dermatology and medical hair restoration. In 2020, he was awarded the designation of Justice of the Peace by the Queen’s Representative in Bermuda in recognition of his service and reputation for excellence.
