Melissa Bivelacque Mercado is an award-winning licensed esthetician and lead educator for Hale & Hush Skincare.  With over 20 years in the industry, she has worked as a licensed esthetician, salon & spa manager, day spa owner, esthetics educator as well as a leader and mentor to many. 

Melissa is an award winning esthetician and international finalist in The Skin Games competition for 3 years and then went on to become an expert panelist and judge for 3 years.  She is proud to be an oncology certified with Oncology Training International as well as a Sensitive Skin Specialist with Hale & Hush. She has also been a featured writer in Dermascope Magazine and for Lipgloss & Aftershave.

In addition to running 2 sucessful spas and an advanced training facility, Melissa is the co-founder for the Connecticut Coalition of Esthetics and Nails which fought for and received licensing for estheticians, nail technicians and lash artists in 2020.
