THE IDEA
Blind Barber was built on one belief: moments are the most important currency. A fresh cut before a big night. The smell that hits when you open the bottle at 7am. A round with friends at the bar nobody knows about. These aren't small things. They're the things that actually matter. Everything we build, every product, every location, every experience, is designed to create more of them.
HOW IT STARTED
We opened a barbershop in New York with a bar in the back. No sign on the door. You had to know. That was 2010. The haircut was a moment. The drink after was a moment. The walk out the door feeling sharper than you walked in, that was the whole point. Five locations later, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Nashville, Philadelphia, thousands of guys have sat in our chairs. We've seen every hair type, every morning routine, every "what should I actually be using?" conversation. The shops became the lab.
HOW THE PRODUCTS HAPPENED
The stuff on our shelves wasn't good enough. So we made our own. Every formula starts with what our barbers need behind the chair. Real problems. Real feedback. Then we take that to the best chemists, labs, and perfumers in the world to build something they couldn't find on their own. It's the combination that makes it work. Barber instinct meets world-class formulation. One side knows what a guy actually reaches for at 7am. The other knows how to make it perform.
Scent leads everything. Tonka bean is our signature note. You'll catch it across the line. Lemongrass tea, watermint gin, amber, hops. We work with top fragrance houses and LMR-sourced ingredients to develop scent profiles that don't just smell good. They take you somewhere. When a guy opens a bottle and it shifts his morning, that's a moment. And that's what we're designing for.
WHAT WE MAKE
Styling: Built on a proof system, like a drink menu. Light hold to heavy. Matte to shine. Hops extract runs through the line for natural strengthening and body. Developed with our barbers and refined in the lab until the performance matched what they demanded daily.
Hair Care: Shampoos and conditioners that do the job without stripping what's already working. Scent-forward. Salon-tested daily.
Skincare: Face washes, moisturizers, and treatments built for the guys who never had a routine and the guys ready to level theirs up. Simple, effective, no twelve-step program.
Body: Wash, lotion, bar soap. Same philosophy. Functional, smells incredible, nothing you'd skip.
Fine Fragrance: Three EDPs launched in 2025. Speakeasy. Shinjuku Mood. Only You Babe. $98 each. Crafted with LMR-sourced ingredients and developed alongside world-class perfumers. This is where the product line grows up. The same scent obsession that built the grooming range, concentrated and wearable. A moment, bottled.
COLLABORATIONS
We partner with brands that live in the same world we do. Blind Barber x The Standard created Glasshouse, an EDP built around the energy of The Standard's iconic lobby and rooftop culture. Glass, warm skin, late light. It's what happens when two brands that understand moments build one together.
THE GUT CHECK
One rule runs through every product decision: would the barber use this? Not would he sell it. Would he reach for it himself, every morning, without being asked. If the answer isn't yes, it doesn't ship.
